(N1) Involving women with a learning disability in research: A reflection of practice and academic barriers

Delegates can expect to gain an insight into research currently being conducted with women with a learning disability, where the benefits of partnership working between academics and NHS partners will be highlighted, particularly focused on the identification and recruitment of research participants. Sharing experiences and the learning from this partnership and resulting challenges, will directly inform evidence-based practice around recruiting WwLD from healthcare settings to participate in research, as well as the challenges of academic and NHS partnership working.
