Joint publications between academic researchers, practitioners and community members provide a platform for sharing setbacks in knowledge exchange. This panel will highlight and discuss examples of joint publications (and other create formats such as podcasts and theatre) that have enabled knowledge users, brokers and producers to a have dialogue about how setbacks can be turned into successes. Former journal editors and a current editor of a special issue on this topic will be joined by a public member who has co-authors publications with academic researchers.
